The two trained restaurateurs didn't find the two-hour trudge through the snow to the Sticklerhütte too strenuous. First they wanted to get to know the hut and its surroundings, then came the impressive CV and the promise to lease the Sticklerhütte.

We used the hike to the hut to forge plans for the future, discuss many questions and create great ideas. Anna and Andreas will run the Sticklerhütte together with their long-time colleague Elias. There will be one dish or drink from each country of origin on the menu. Anna is from Bavaria, Andreas from Salzburg and Elias from East Tyrol. Anna and Andreas want to run an alpine refuge and not an inn in the valley. For this reason, we thankfully declined the valley bus this year. There are some great ideas to make the short access route from Muritzen even more entertaining and interesting.
