You can also spend the night at the Grazer Hütte and the alpine breakfast is a show - with farmhouse bread baked in a wood-fired oven, homemade jams & honey, bacon & cheese from the farmer. And best of all: on fine summer days, breakfast is served on the terrace early in the morning. Here you can really enjoy the warming sun, while down in the valley it is usually still shady.

Breakfast costs €14 per person.

We have been awarded the "This is how the mountains taste" seal, which stands for quality, regionality and the best food and drink.

Only the very best food and drinks are served at over 110 Alpine Club huts with the "So schmecken die Berge" seal. Most of the products on offer come from within a radius of 50 kilometres and, where possible, from organic farming. The motto is: as local and regional as possible.

For you this means:

• You support the hut owners in buying locally.
• Your money goes directly to the local producer.

Aims of the initiative:

• Preservation of the Alpine cultural landscape characterised by mountain farming.
• Promotion of the regional economy.
• Conserving resources and energy.

The Alpine associations endeavour to achieve a practicable proportion of regionally produced food in the overall menu.
The participating hut landlords have undertaken to include at least three dishes from local production in their menus.
